Red Dwarf is
1. a cult British sci-fi sitcom that ran for eight television series on BBC2 between 1988 and 1999, and has since achieved a global cult following. It was created and originally written by Grant Naylor Also producing books exploring, in more detail, the escapades of Arnold Rimmer, a hologram, David Lister, the last human being alive, The Cat, a creature evolved from cats, Holly, a senile computer, and Kryten, an android.
Major musical achievements of the show include the "Rimmer Song", as sung by Howard Goodall for the episode entitled "Blue", and "Tongue-Tied", as sung by Danny John-Jules for the episode entitled "Parallel Universe". Smoke me a kipper, i'll be back for breakfast.
